Justin EC Tetrault is a PhD candidate and SSHRC Doctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta, in the Department of Sociology. His dissertation is a semi-ethnographic study of contemporary right-wing movements in Canada. He is also Project Manager of the University of Alberta Prison Project, a multi-year study of life experiences inside prisons in Western Canada. His other research interests include race and ethnicity, social theory, visual sociology, and surveillance studies.
